Where are documents stored?

In CASE Spec, all artifacts, including data, documents, and models are stored in a central shared repository.

Are there any license keys required?

License keys are not required for each user. However, a license key is required for server installation.

What are CASE Spec’s license requirements? Is installation limited to a few computers?

CASE Spec provides floating client licenses. You can install the application on an unlimited number of computers; however, the number of users that can access CASE Spec concurrently (at the same time) is controlled by the number of floating licenses purchased.  

For example, if you purchase five floating licenses, you can install CASE Spec on any number of computers – but, only five users may access the server simultaneously.

What is CASE Spec ‘s upgrade policy?

Each CASE Spec licensed copy includes one-year free upgrades and support. After the first year, upgrades and support may be purchased for an additional fee equal to 20% of the total cost of CASE Spec.

Where does CASE Spec’s database reside?

CASE is a high-performance multi-tier, multi-thread application. CASE Spec is very easy to install and deploy for local and virtual teams. CASE Spec’s server (with database) can be installed on your computers.

What are the different licensing options?

We offer floating client licenses. A floating license does not require an activation code for each client license. An activation code is required for server only. It is controlled by the number of concurrent users.

How long does it take to deploy CASE Spec in our environment?

CASE Spec can be deployed very quickly for both local and globally dispersed teams. A typical deployment would be 30-60 minutes.

What are the system requirements for the server?

The CASE Spec server can be used on any Windows machine, including Windows 2003/2008/2012 server.  A minimum of 1 GB of RAM is highly recommended.

How long will it take to process an order?

We will email you a download link within 24-48 hours once your order is received (paid for by purchase order (P.O.), credit card, check, or wire transfer).

How do I order CASE Spec?

How is the product delivered?

We will email you a link withing 24-48 hrs. Optionally, we can mail you the product on a CD.

Does CASE Spec need a database?

No. CASE Spec includes a Free enterprise database that is highly scalable to TBs of data.
